If you are fortunate enough to be entering the exam season, you’re probably starting to feel slightly stressed. Therefore, we at Office Monster have put together a few effective tips to try help you get the best results.

1.)  Figuring out how you  revise

This doesn’t necessarily have to be boring. As everyone is different, everyone will have different ways of revising and the only way to find out how you revise best, is to simply experiment.

I’m sure you’ll have plenty of practice exams coming up, so for each exam, try different techniques. For example for one exam you could try: Reading the information you need to know aloud, and for another you could try drawing spider diagrams and doing more visual revision techniques and then see which you get the best result from, and then use that revision mechanism for your real exams.

2.)  Keep yourself motivated

There is actually a trick to this and it all depends on you as a person. If you’re one to really feel the pressure and get very worked up before exams then you will probably need to start reminding yourself that these exams, are not the most important things in tImage result for motivational post it notehe world and as long as you are trying, then there is nothing more you can do.

On the other hand if you are too relaxed, this can also hinder you and hold you back. So then you need to do the opposite. Try picturing yourself on results day, and asking yourself, ‘do I want to be filled with regret or pride?’

3.)  Maintaining that balance

Life is all about balance, and sometimes, when 15 exams are thrown in your face all at once, any balance that you once had, can potentially deteriorate and these exams become the main focus of your entire life.

Putting too much pressure on yourself can cause depression, anxiety and it can potentially weaken your immune system causing you to become ill, essentially causing all the things you don’t want or need to happen when entering a period in your life where you need to be on top form.

So to stop yourself from getting caught in this trap, try not to put too much pressure on yourself (i’m sure your getting enough pressure from your teachers), remember to do things that you want to do, such as hobbies and seeing friends.

4.)  Reward yourself

This is probably the most important tip. Planning to stuff your face with chocolates, Haribo’s and ice cream, or taking yourself out for a Starbuck’s and doing some retail therapy, after doing a tone of revision are all great rewards to motivate you and keep you going through the stressful exam period. Losing motivation is something many students struggle with.
