Start on January 1

You know the saying, ‘it’s easier said than done’ well this definitely applies here. Because on news years eve many people are thinking about how they’re going to make this year, their year and how they’re going to do so many things differently and how they’re actually going to stick to their new years resolution this year, rather than keeping it up for the first week and quitting the week after.

And then it comes to the first of January and you wake up with a sore head, and the last thing you want to do is go to the gym…

Stay ORGANISED

The key to staying on track, is staying organised and if you’re going to stick to your new years resolution you need to start it ASAP.

What this means is starting it on news years day. It doesn’t mean, waking up and rolling over because you’ve got a rough head and deciding to start it the next day because the next day will come and you’ll think i’ll start Monday and before you know it, it’s half way through the year and you still haven’t started your new years resolution. So make sure you start your New Years Resolution, on New Years day. And say for example, if your new years resolution is starting to go to the gym, just go for half an hour rather than an hour, and that way it doesn’t sound as daunting.

Give Yourself a Helping Hand

To help you stay on track you’ll need a diary. You need to track your work, and write down what days you are doing what. And this is where Office Monster can help, and we have lots and lots of diary’s, so why not have a little scroll down our website.

Another tool you’ll need to help you out is a calendar, maybe have it on display in the kitchen and that way you’ll always be reminded of what you need to do, when and again, Office Monster has calender’s in abundance, so why not check them out: Here.

Stay Consistent

This one is the MOST important. Because it’s so easy to just think, ‘oh i’m not going to do that today, i’ll do it tomorrow,’ however there’s a large chance you’ll just think that the next day and before you know it, you’ll have quit before the end of the first week of January.

Which is why staying consistent is key. And to do this, little tips can help. For example, if you’re trying to read more, doing things such as deleting social media and always carrying your books around with you, will remind you and help you to complete your new years resolution!
